The Story

The Nimble One was built for clinicians who need to bring hearing care to the patient — tight urban routes, school visits, and rural or remote communities. It uses the 144" Sprinter wheelbase for a parking-lot-friendly footprint, with Stabilization Level I suspension, the Comfort, Driver Convenience and Premium packages, Active Distance Assist Distronic and a leather steering wheel up front.

At the heart of the van is an ETY-base sound booth built into the shell — not bolted in — with recessed LED lighting, ventilation ports and an ergonomic interior, alongside a clinic workspace in premium Baltic birch cabinetry (HPL faces, Blum hardware, marine slam latches, exposed birch edges; no particle board). It is a real clinical environment on wheels.

The off-grid package runs the clinic all day: 400Ah of Victron lithium with thermostatic heating pads, a MultiPlus 3000 inverter, 350W of roof solar and a 280A secondary alternator. An Espar 4kW diesel heater (off the Sprinter's own tank) and a Dometic RTX 2000 12V rooftop A/C keep it comfortable from −30 to +30. The chassis alone is roughly $88,000; at $194,500 the van is priced below the sum of its parts — about $86K less than a comparable one-off custom build, and available now instead of 10–14 months out.
