Starting Your Build, Common Questions
What does a custom van conversion cost?
Our custom builds run three tiers in Canadian dollars: standard custom $50,000–$100,000, semi-custom $100,000–$150,000, and full custom $150,000–$350,000. Where you land depends on the chassis, systems, and finish level you choose.
How long does a build take?
Typical build time is 8–12 weeks once your van is in our shop. Design and planning happen before that, so the earlier we start the conversation, the sooner your build slot is booked.
Which chassis do you build on?
We build on the Mercedes Sprinter (144 and 170) and the Ford Transit. We'll help you pick the right platform for how you plan to travel.
Are your vans built for four-season use?
Yes. Every 2Pines build is engineered, insulated, and tested for real Canadian winters down to −25 °C, so your van is comfortable in four seasons rather than fair-weather only.
Do you supply the van, or do I?
Either works. Many clients bring their own chassis, and we can also help you source the right van. Tell us your preference in the form and we'll guide the next step.
