Custom camper vans and commercial upfits

Manitoba van conversions built for real Canadian seasons

Four-season Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Ford Transit conversions, built in Saskatchewan for Winnipeg and Manitoba travel.

Right before it heads home

A clear process matters more at a distance

Manitoba is close enough to work with a Saskatchewan builder and far enough that the van needs to be right before it heads home. That makes a clear design process and serviceable systems especially important.

2Pines works with Winnipeg and Manitoba clients on custom camper vans, spec-layout builds and specialized commercial vehicles. The process can include vehicle selection, remote design reviews, CAD planning, manufacturing and delivery coordination.

Use, not finishes

The first conversation is about how you travel

The first conversation is about use, not finishes. We need to understand the number of travellers, sleeping and seating needs, trip length, seasonal expectations, equipment and budget. From there, we can make the larger decisions in the right order: vehicle, layout, weight, heat, ventilation, plumbing, power, storage and materials.

A four-season Manitoba van should be honest about what four-season means for the owner. Some clients want comfortable shoulder-season travel and occasional nights below freezing. Others need protected plumbing and reliable systems for regular winter use. Those are different builds. We design around the temperatures and routines the client expects rather than applying the same package to everyone.

After delivery

Serviceable, hours from the shop

We also pay attention to what happens after delivery. Mechanical and electrical components should be reachable. Owners should understand their systems. A good manual and clear service points are not glamorous, but they matter a lot more when you are several hours from the shop.

We work with clients from Winnipeg, Brandon, Portage la Prairie, Steinbach and Dauphin, and across Manitoba lake country. Explore our layouts.

Questions, answered

Frequently asked questions

Where are your camper vans built?

At our shop in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. We work with Winnipeg and Manitoba clients through remote design reviews, CAD planning, manufacturing and delivery coordination.

Do you build four-season camper vans?

Yes, and we are honest about what four-season means for you. Comfortable shoulder-season travel is a different build than reliable regular winter use. We design insulation, Espar heat, ventilation, protected plumbing and Victron power around the temperatures and routines you actually expect.

What vans do you build on?

We build on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (144 and 170 wheelbase) and the Ford Transit. We match the vehicle to your layout, payload and use case.

Is service a problem if I am hours away?

We design for it. Components are kept reachable, you get a full manual and clear service points, and the shop that built the van is a phone call away.

How do I get started?

Start with the build form and tell us the trip, the people, the gear, your seasons, vehicle status and general budget.
