Custom camper vans and commercial upfits

Regina van conversions designed for prairie travel

Four-season Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Ford Transit conversions, built in Prince Albert for Regina and southern Saskatchewan travel.

Cover the distance

A van that covers a lot of ground

For Regina clients, a camper van often has to cover distance well. Weekend trips, western road travel, park stays, sports, hunting, work and family visits can put very different demands on the same vehicle.

We start by working through those demands before recommending a layout or equipment package. How many belted seats are needed? Where does everyone sleep? What gets used every day, and what only comes out at camp? Will the van travel below freezing? Does it need to work as a second vehicle between trips?

Good fundamentals

Prairie travel rewards the basics done right

2Pines builds custom and semi-custom camper vans on Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Ford Transit platforms. Our shop is in Prince Albert, and we work with Regina and southern Saskatchewan clients through vehicle selection, CAD design, manufacturing and delivery planning.

Prairie travel rewards good fundamentals. The van needs stable heating and ventilation, sensible weight distribution, storage that does not become a rattle box, and enough battery capacity for the actual electrical loads. Water systems need to be planned around the temperatures in which they will be used. Exterior accessories should solve a real problem instead of taking budget away from comfort, protection or reliability.

Visible decisions

You see where the budget goes

We can build a fully custom interior or begin with one of our spec layouts as a starting point. Either way, we make the important decisions visible. Clients can see where the budget is going, what can be added later, and which items are much easier to install during the original build.

We work with clients from Regina, Moose Jaw, Weyburn, Estevan, Swift Current and Yorkton, and across southern Saskatchewan. Explore our layouts.

Questions, answered

Frequently asked questions

Where are your camper vans built?

At our shop in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. We work with Regina and southern Saskatchewan clients through vehicle selection, CAD design, manufacturing and delivery planning.

Do you build four-season camper vans?

Yes. We design insulation, Espar diesel heat, ventilation, protected plumbing and Victron power as one system, sized to how cold you actually plan to travel and whether you need running water below freezing.

What vans do you build on?

We build on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (144 and 170 wheelbase) and the Ford Transit. There is no single best platform for everyone, so we match the vehicle to your layout and use case.

Can the van work as a second vehicle between trips?

It can. If daily driving or belted seating matters, we factor that into the layout and the platform choice from the start rather than treating it as an afterthought.

How do I get started?

Start with the build form and tell us how far you travel, who comes along, your seasons, equipment, vehicle status and general budget.
